FROM THE FRONT LINES OF THE PANDEMIC

The coronavirus outbreak has inflicted untold suffering, with over 1 million known cases worldwide (1), families and friends isolated and worried about loved ones infected by the virus, and individuals and families living with a lack of certainty and an overall concern for their safety at home. For every case, there are multiple healthcare workers on the frontlines working tirelessly - faced with unprecedented challenges and potentially life altering situations. Our perspectives as clinicians, researchers, epidemiologists, and individuals have shifted. Now more than ever, the Injury Science community is vitally important. Here we feature stories, opinion pieces, and emerging research and opportunities related to the COVID-19 pandemic. Join us in thanking our Scholars and wishing everyone safety and well wishes during this trying time.
