Target Audience

This program has been designed for physicians, fellows, residents, medical students, physician assistants, pharmacists in anesthesiology, dermatology, family medicine, internal medicine, ID, GI, cardiology, pulmonary, renal rheumatology, ophthalmology, pediatrics, psychiatry and neurology.

Series Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  • Appropriately interpret the results of “trend in trend” studies with respect to whether the results demonstrate or refute the effectiveness of marketed medications

  • Recognize the impact neighborhood has on stress level when evaluating children for behavioral disorders

  • Incorporate new approaches in the research study designs

  • Identify risk factors for non-adherence

  • Evaluate best practices that lead to better adherence

Session Educational Objectives

After completing this activity, participants should be able to:

  1. Participants will be able to discuss demographic trends in marijuana use in the U.S.

  2. Participants will be exposed to the most updated findings on consequences of medical marijuana laws and be able to explain them
