A new study led by PISC Director Douglas J. Wiebe, Professor of Epidemiology in Biostatistics, Epidemiology, and Informatics, and Senior Research Coordinator Bernadette A. D'Alonzo has found that a small change to kickoff rules might lead to a significant reduction in concussion rates -- a result that, upon review by experts and reporters alike, might help keep players safer and healthier.
