Firearm Violence: A Global Priority for Nursing Science

In light of a lack of information regarding the prevention and impacts of firearm violence, an article from lead author Therese S. Richmond -- Professor of Nursing, Associate Dean for Research and Innovation, and PISC Executive Committee member -- and secondary author Matthew Foman frames firearm violence as a health and public policy problem, showing how nurses are in a prime position to understand the complex factors leading to firearm violence and investigate how to reduce its frequency and impact.
