Penn and CHOP Team Receives $1.84 Million Grant to Study Best Practices for Curbing Cell Phone Use While Driving

PISC Senior Scholar M. Kit Delgado, in junction with a team of researchers from both Penn and the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia, has recently received a grant of $1.84 million to help combat the issue of distracted driving. The grant, which comes from the Federal Highway Administration within the United States Department of Transportation, will be used to translate behavioral economics "nudges" into tangible reductions in cell phone use while driving.
