Most upsetting, however, the medical community seems to have consulted NO ONE but themselves.” In it, Lee reaches out to members of the UPenn medical community about their experiences with gun trauma, discussing various topics like the teamwork it takes to save a trauma patient's life, why talking is important in preventing burnout and other negative consequences in healthcare professionals, and the feeling when a patient is beyond saving.
