In the context of motor vehicle safety, the quality and upkeep of the vehicle could mean the difference between life and death. In this study, a team including current PISC Advisory Board member Guohua Li explored the prevalence of in-vehicle technologies, and explored several measures of vehicle maintenance and damage. While the study concludes that vehicles used by older drivers were well-maintained but had few aftermarket adaptations, it also includes implications of its findings for occupational therapy practices.
