With Support from Parents, Teens Forge A Path to Handle Social Distancing

PISC Executive Committee Member Catherine McDonald PhD, is featured in a recent article on adolescents and social distancing. Though it may be too early explain how the adolescent population is responding using direct research much is gleaned from McDonald's adolescent research. McDonald states that explicit conversations with teens must be had, including what peer pressure looks like in the context of social distancing, particularly as the weather warms and some of the quarantine recommendations evolve.
