PISC x CHERISH Opioid Pilot Grant 2023
The Penn Injury Science Center is happy to team up with CHERISH (Center for Health Economics for Treatment of Substance Use Disorders, HCV, and HIV) on a co-sponsored pilot grant focusing on opioid use disorders. PISC Exploratory Grant 2022
The Penn Injury Science Center (PISC) invites yearly proposals for our CDC-funded Exploratory Grants Program and typically funds one project per year around $15,000-20,000 in direct costs, though available funding may vary from year to year. The purpose of this program is to support Penn faculty in conducting a rigorous study to serve as the basis to seek long-term extramural funding to grow their area of science. PISC Pilot Grants 2021
The Penn Injury Science Center (PISC) typically provides funding for (2) pilot grants proposals annually, for projects up to $10,000 each, though available funding may vary from year to year. Pilot projects are expected to support PISC’s mission to reduce injuries and violence and their sequelae through the highest caliber science. Applicants are encouraged to demonstrate a rigorous approach to solve an important scientific problem in injury science and that contributes to building their research program.
