SAVIR Fall Forum watch party

The SAVIR Fall Forum is a week of virtual programming, September 15–22! This mini-SAVIR conference offers daily opportunities to participate in science sessions, skill-building labs, and networking events.

On Tuesday, September 16th 12pm-3pm (Stellar Chance Rm 601), in place of our usually scheduled Incubator, the Penn Injury Science Center is inviting its scholars, trainees, partners, and friends to an in-person watch party to stream two SAVIR Fall Forum sessions:

• 12pm-1:30pm:Flash Science Session – Featuring Science Award Winners from SAVIR 2025SAVIR’s 2025 conference hosted the most individual scientific presentations to-date. Join this dynamic session to hear brief presentations from researchers with the top-ranking science from the conference.
• 2pm-3pm:Provost’s Corner: Tenure in the New WorldAcademia and higher education have faced challenges to that can make navigating promotion and tenure uncertain. Join this moderated discussion with university leaders to hear how they are thinking about solutions to today’s challenges, and how to support faculty in the new political and funding environment.
